Home Study Academy II

• Home Study Academy II is an innovative school/independent study program available to students in grades 9-12. The program is designed for students and families seeking an effective alternative to a traditional educational program. Families choosing this program want to be involved in the education of their children while receiving support from credentialed, highly qualified teachers in a safe, caring academic environment. Teachers meet individually with each student on a regular schedule to provide support, direct coursework, and assess progress. Enrollment involves a commitment from the student and family.
  
  Home Study Academy II has been awarded a prestigious State of California Charter Schools Dissemination Grant so that elements of our highly successful program could be shared with schools throughout California. Dissemination grants empower successful charter schools to share proven best practices information and assistance with both charter and traditional public schools. Dissemination grant recipient schools are avenues of educational reform and choice, offering more students the opportunity to learn California’s rigorous academic state content standards. Home Study Academy II has also been honored as a California Educational Options Best Practices Program in the area of Curriculum, Instruction, and Educational Technology.
